Rescue & care
We support ownerless animals rescued from emergencies and crisis situations. We help make sure they receive the medical care, nursing and attention they need — and give them the time and calm they need to learn to trust people again.
Careful rehoming
We place our animals in suitable, loving and responsible forever homes — for adoptions that last.
Non-profit & transparent
Tierfreunde Schweiz is a non-profit organisation. All funds go exclusively into our animal welfare work.

Azad
Azad is a gentle, calm tomcat who is a little reserved at first — given time, he quickly gains trust and shows himself to be cuddly and sociable. He gets along well with other cats and with children.
Leon
Leon is a calm, exceptionally sociable little dog who gets on well with people, children, dogs and cats — and enjoys car rides.

Happy & Amber — rescued, settled, happy
Two stories. Two new families. A happy home.
Happy and Amber had a difficult start in life. They were rescued from an emergency by another association. But their journey did not end there.
Tierfreunde Schweiz had the privilege of accompanying them on the next part of their journey. We helped find suitable, loving families in Switzerland for both dogs and supported them on the way to their new homes.
Today Happy and Amber can enjoy the life they deserve: security, love, safety and a family of their own. Uncertainty turned into trust. A difficult start became a new beginning.
Today Happy lives with his new family in Switzerland, has settled in well and is clearly enjoying life — surrounded by green, with a view of the mountains. ❤️
Amber, too, has found a loving, permanent family in Switzerland, where she now lives happily, looking forward to the future. ❤️
