Character and behaviour

Lia is a friendly and loving girl who gets on well with people and children. She is generally good with other dogs too. Her behaviour towards cats has not yet been tested.

She enjoys being touched and petted and feels at home in a household. With her medium energy level, she is neither especially calm nor extremely active.

Indoors Lia is pleasant and easy-going. She doesn’t destroy household items and isn’t possessive about things. She may give a bark or two when she hears noises outside, but otherwise she is not a particularly vocal dog.

Food behaviour

Lia shows no aggression around food towards people. Around food she may give other dogs a warning, which should be kept in mind if she lives with other dogs. Apart from this, she shows no general tendency to growl or give warnings.

Life at home

Lia’s story

To rescue beautiful Lia, our team had no choice but to buy her from her very cruel family, who never let her inside the house and didn’t even allow her to move freely in the garden.

When she was just one month old, she was tied to a post in a raised bed in scorching heat.

Despite this difficult past, Lia deserves a life of safety, freedom, love and security. Now a new chapter can begin for her — with people who will give her a loving, permanent home.
